The company was founded on this type of roof system, and I was lucky enough to learn the different methods and specifications of those systems in the late 70’s early 80’s by experts. We continue to repair tar and gravel roofs or smooth built-up systems. There are very few of these roofs in RI since the advent of single ply roof systems. We no longer install built up tar and gravel roofs. We have moved on to the newer specified modified bitumen multi ply roof systems. We no longer have hot kettles but can provide you with the products that will outperform yesterday’s hot roofs. The pictures on this page are mechanically attached rubber roofs.
